With a name like Walden Moggies, it is clear that we are exclusively for cats. 

Dogs are highly sociable animals which makes them unsuitable to be left for long periods of time. Cats are sociable, but are much more independent & require a different kind of care and attention compared to dogs. This allows us to offer the recommended two daily visits, a service that’s tailored to each cat’s needs.

Cats are very territorial & their smell is much stronger than us humans, 14 times stronger in fact! Therefore, it is important for us not to smell of dogs or bring this smell into a cat’s environment as they consider dogs as predators & this can be very unsettling for some cats.

As we only work with cats, we have gained a vast amount of knowledge and experience when it comes to cat care.  Walden Moggies have extensive experience caring for cats, both as an owner & in a rehoming / rescue centre together with several years as a cat sitter in Saffron Walden.   We take time to understand your cat’s temperament and behaviour to ensure they are comfortable while 

their owners are away.  

Your cat will be our main focus during all visits. We will look after your cat as if it was our own & we choose to do this out of genuine love and respect for cats.  This makes for a service that owners understand & trust.
